Many women would like to breastfeed as long and as often as possible because they know the benefits of natural food for their baby. In addition, breastfeeding can reduce the risk of breast cancer, according to a British study* by 4,3% for each year the child is breastfed. So a real win-win situation for mom and baby. But not everyone is lucky enough to be able to experience a carefree breastfeeding period and struggle with various breastfeeding problems.
This often goes so far that you find yourself in a cycle of pumping, feeding, latching and sleepless neighbors. When supplementary feeding is often made more difficult that the pre-food is not tolerated. All these circumstances can also have a corresponding effect on the mother-child relationship.
So what alternative is there to avoid having to stop breastfeeding prematurely or switch to bottle feeding completely?
