The »fertility vitamin« FOLAT contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy and to normal blood formation. The intake should be started at least 4 weeks before conception in order to fill the storage sufficiently. In order to make folic acid usable for the body, it is converted into the bioactive form with the help of an enzyme. The product should be taken over a period of at least four months as indicated, since egg cells, like sperm, need about 3-4 months to mature and their quality depends, among other things, on the nutrients ingested.
